Kangacrew are pleased to be working with a well known nursery chain who are looking for a Team Leader for their nursery in Surrey .
Reporting to the Nursery Manager the successful candidate will be qualified to Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education and will work closely with Nursery Manager and Deputy to ensure the effective daily management of the nurseries, whist being room based. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your own under two’s team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
You should have at least two years qualified experience.
You should be a role model practitioner with the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of Ofsted Standards and EYFS.
You should be able to communicate effectively on best practice of care and education to both staff and parents and have good customer care skills.
Be able to assume management responsibility for the nursery when the Deputy Manager steps up or is absent.
You should be willing to be involved in a wide variety of tasks across the nursery, for example: recruitment, promoting inclusive practice, mentoring staff, teambuilding, assisting to deal with parent issues, conducting show rounds and much more.
The nursery is looking for someone will want to help develop others, as well as themselves, and you should be prepared to undertake additional training and qualifications.
Please note, due to the location of this nursery it is preferred that you have your own transport as it is not easy to get to on public transport - there is plenty of free parking available.
